Question 1 There are many ideas about how the world will ‘end’. Do you think the world will end some day? Have you ever thought what would happen if the sun got so hot that it ‘burst’, or grew colder and colder?

Answer:

It is difficult to say whether the world will actually end someday. If the Sun became extremely hot and exploded, life on Earth would be destroyed. On the other hand, if the Sun became colder and colder, the Earth would become too cold for life. Both situations would be dangerous for all living beings.

हिंदी अनुवाद:

यह कहना कठिन है कि दुनिया वास्तव में किसी दिन समाप्त होगी या नहीं। यदि सूर्य बहुत अधिक गर्म होकर फट जाए, तो पृथ्वी पर जीवन नष्ट हो जाएगा। दूसरी ओर, यदि सूर्य लगातार ठंडा होता जाए, तो पृथ्वी जीवन के लिए बहुत ठंडी हो जाएगी। दोनों ही परिस्थितियाँ सभी जीवित प्राणियों के लिए खतरनाक होंगी।
