Answer:  Griffin was invisible, but when he stepped in mud, his footprints appeared on the ground. Two boys saw the footprints and followed him. Later, he went into a big store and wore clothes like shoes, an overcoat, and a hat. After wearing these clothes, people could see him.

Hindi Translation:

ग्रिफिन अदृश्य था, लेकिन जब वह कीचड़ पर चला तो उसके पैरों के निशान दिखाई देने लगे। दो लड़कों ने इन निशानों को देखा और उसका पीछा किया। बाद में वह एक बड़े स्टोर में गया और जूते, ओवरकोट और टोपी पहन ली। कपड़े पहनने के बाद लोग उसे देख सकते थे।

Answer:

Griffin was a careless and law-breaking man. His landlord did not like him and wanted him to leave. In anger, Griffin burned the house. To escape without being seen, he removed his clothes. After that, he had no home, clothes, or money, so he wandered in the streets.

Hindi Translation:

ग्रिफिन एक लापरवाह और कानून तोड़ने वाला व्यक्ति था। उसका मकान मालिक उसे पसंद नहीं करता था और उसे घर से निकालना चाहता था। गुस्से में ग्रिफिन ने घर में आग लगा दी। बिना दिखे भागने के लिए उसने अपने कपड़े उतार दिए। इसके बाद उसके पास घर, कपड़े और पैसे नहीं रहे, इसलिए वह सड़कों पर भटकने लगा।

Answer:

Mrs Hall finds the scientist strange because he behaves oddly. He does not talk much and answers in a cold way. He says he wants to be alone and does not want anyone to disturb him. Because of his unusual behaviour, she thinks he is eccentric.

मिसेज़ हॉल को वैज्ञानिक अजीब लगता है क्योंकि उसका व्यवहार अलग है। वह ज्यादा बात नहीं करता और ठंडे तरीके से जवाब देता है। वह कहता है कि वह अकेला रहना चाहता है और कोई उसे परेशान न करे। उसके अजीब व्यवहार के कारण मिसेज़ हॉल उसे सनकी समझती है।

Answer:

One morning, a clergyman and his wife hear noises in the study. When they go to check, they hear money being taken from the desk. They search everywhere but find no one. However, the desk is open and the money is missing.

एक सुबह पादरी और उसकी पत्नी को अध्ययन कक्ष से आवाज़ें सुनाई देती हैं। जब वे देखने जाते हैं तो उन्हें मेज से पैसे लेने की आवाज़ सुनाई देती है। वे हर जगह खोजते हैं लेकिन कोई नहीं मिलता। फिर भी मेज खुली होती है और पैसे गायब होते हैं।

Answer:

One day the landlord and his wife enter the scientist’s room and find it empty. Suddenly strange things happen. A hat jumps up and hits Mrs Hall’s face. Then a chair moves by itself and pushes them out of the room. The door shuts behind them, and Mrs Hall becomes very frightened.

एक दिन मकान मालिक और उसकी पत्नी वैज्ञानिक के कमरे में जाते हैं और उसे खाली पाते हैं। अचानक अजीब घटनाएँ होने लगती हैं। एक टोपी उछलकर मिसेज़ हॉल के चेहरे से टकराती है। फिर एक कुर्सी खुद चलकर उन्हें कमरे से बाहर धकेल देती है। दरवाज़ा उनके पीछे बंद हो जाता है और मिसेज़ हॉल बहुत डर जाती है।

Answer:

Griffin was a lawless person because he did not follow rules. He burned his landlord’s house and became a wanderer. He also robbed a shopkeeper and stole money from a clergyman’s desk. He even attacked Mrs Hall. These actions show that he did not respect the law.

ग्रिफिन कानून न मानने वाला व्यक्ति था क्योंकि वह नियमों का पालन नहीं करता था। उसने अपने मकान मालिक के घर में आग लगा दी और भटकने लगा। उसने एक दुकानदार को लूटा और पादरी की मेज से पैसे भी चुरा लिए। उसने मिसेज़ हॉल पर भी हमला किया। ये सभी बातें दिखाती हैं कि वह कानून का सम्मान नहीं करता था।

Answer:

Griffin was a very intelligent scientist. He discovered how to make a human body invisible. This was a great achievement. But he used his discovery in a wrong way and harmed people. So, he was a brilliant scientist but not a good person.

ग्रिफिन एक बहुत बुद्धिमान वैज्ञानिक था। उसने मानव शरीर को अदृश्य बनाने का तरीका खोजा। यह एक बड़ी उपलब्धि थी। लेकिन उसने अपनी खोज का गलत उपयोग किया और लोगों को नुकसान पहुँचाया। इसलिए वह एक प्रतिभाशाली वैज्ञानिक था, लेकिन अच्छा इंसान नहीं था।
