Use of “About to”
“About to” का प्रयोग उस काम के लिए होता है जो होने ही वाला है / होने वाला था।
अर्थ — करने ही वाला है / करने वाला था
Structure / Formula
अगर वाक्य में आए — 👉 करने ही वाला है / होने ही वाला है
✅ Formula (Present)
👉 Subject + is / am / are + about to + V¹
अगर वाक्य में आए — 👉 करने ही वाला था
✅ Formula (Past)
👉 Subject + was / were + about to + V¹
Examples
वह जाने ही वाला है।
→ He is about to go.
मैं पढ़ने ही वाला हूँ।
→ I am about to study.
वह गिरने ही वाला था।
→ He was about to fall.
वे निकलने ही वाले थे।
→ They were about to leave.
मैं हारने वाला नहीं हूँ।
→ I am not about to lose.
